Cody Rogers, a senior at Texas Tech University and an outstanding basketball player drafted by the San Antonio Spurs, and Abby White, a girl he meets on campus, are heading home from a picnic at Buffalo Lake. The plot thickens with lies, tattoos, romance, and blackmail. What about Brad, in California? And Jeff in Denver? Lori's almost killed. Will Cody be suspended from the Spurs? And there's duplicity and possible tragedy in Kansas City.
With plenty of action and plot twists, the story provides Cody many opportunities for character growth. There is an excellent surprise ending.

Riviting! B. Haller did a wonderful job of keeping me glued to the pages. This is one author I look forward to seeing some work from in the future.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Its unpredictable plot moved along at a fast pace. The characters' actions were believable, and even though the story had several twists and turns, at the conclusion all loose ends were tied up except for one final surprise that came at the very end.
